People have been asking me should I get vaccinated? What do you and your invisible friends say Lorraine? Since I had to go through this dilema myself recently; should I or shouldn’t I, this is the information I received for myself.
(First all I respect that for each and every one of us this is a personal decision.)
I was planning to wait for a better vaccine rollout but began to second think this after I spoke with my doctor over the phone (who urged me to get vaccinated because of these new; very dangerous strains of COVID-19).
So I went inside (to my inner world) and checked with my “help”, I was told the vaccines are safe. Then I was told the real danger is the situation will present people with a false sense of security as the protection from these vaccines will not last very long (as news begins to dribble in from Israel, the first vaccinated population). However being vaccinated will protect from serious illness like a flu shot does, you still might get sick but hopefully you won’t die. I weighed it out and decided to get vaccinated, both myself and my partner did.
(I do want to make it clear that I am not a medical doctor, and I am not giving advice as a medical professional).
One thing that people aren’t talking about that much, we still have to social distance and wear masks for others, especially the unvaccinated because we can be unaffected carriers of these new dangerous strains of COVID 19. Stay informed, stay safe, things are changing all the time so its good to keep yourself updated.
The messages I get is that there will be a better vaccine coming out this next year 2022 (or thereabouts) and better ones afterwards (that last longer), here’s the weird part, I also received that the illness will mysteriously disappear over the next few years. However everything that is happening to us right now is a warning to us from Mother Earth, if we keep destroying whats left of the ecosystem; more serious viruses will be coming in about 8 years; especially watch for the condition of the oceans as this will be an indicator of the condition of the immune system of our planet. The next round won’t be so easy to develop a vaccine for; if you can even call it that because a vaccine is supposed to last a lifetime. Not six or nine months.
As human beings we need to love each other, care for each other and begin to look after each other (and our beautiful planet and all her inhabitants).
Love is the only way out of this mess.
